WWAHF has its foundations in Zechariah 4:6, “Not by might, not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts" (NKJV). It is a verse that reminds us about submission to the Sovereign God, El Elyon, in all things. At WWAHF, we express our submission through selfless worship, a posture focused on God alone. We worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) and let go of our fears and anxieties so that the only One who has the power to save (Hebrews 7:25) can have His way.
Every year, we bring together Worship Leaders and Ministers who are committed to this vision and our mission to see selfless worship become the living state of every heart.
Olu is married to Adefunke, and they are the hosts at WWAHF. A few years ago, Olu was inspired to set up a worship programme but due to the lack of knowledge in the technical areas, he held off. However, they had a personal revelation of what worship means when they went through “a valley of the shadow of death” experience. It was one that led to an increased reliance on God and they held on to Zechariah 4:6 which has become the foundational word for WWAHF. They worshipped through this period and they were sustained by the power and might of God. This experience led Olu to discuss the nudge in his heart with friends. With the support of family, friends and loved ones, WWAHF was born in 2023. It has been a series of unending testimonies. God backs His word.
